Pioneer Military Credit Announces Spring 2026 Homefront Scholars Military Spouse Scholarship Winner
Pioneer Military Credit proudly announces Nicole Harbin as the recipient of its Spring 2026 Homefront Scholars Military Spouse Scholarship. Harbin has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her academic dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving others.
An active-duty Navy spouse, Nicole Harbin, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at San Diego State University. Over the past six years as a military spouse, she has built resilience, adaptability, and independence while supporting her husband’s service. At the same time, she has remained focused on achieving her own professional goals.
Set to graduate in May 2026, Harbin plans to pursue a career in critical care or in healthcare serving veterans. She is driven by a desire to give back to her community and to step into her own role as a provider for her family.
“Being a military spouse has made my advanced education journey more challenging, but I have never stopped believing in my ability to reach my dream of serving my community with the same commitment and passion as my husband serves his country,” said Harbin.

The Homefront Scholars Military Spouse Scholarship reflects Pioneer Military Credit’s ongoing commitment to supporting military families through educational opportunities and career advancement. By investing in military spouses, the program helps strengthen the financial stability and future success of military households.
Military spouses are encouraged to apply during one or both scholarship sessions offered each year. The Fall 2026 scholarship session is now open, and entries close on June 30, 2026.
