Pioneer Military Credit Welcomes Crew of the USS Kansas City during Navy Week Activities
The team at Pioneer Military Credit (Pioneer) was excited to support and welcome the crew of the USS Kansas City (LCS-22) to the region during 2021 Navy Week activities. It was the first time Navy Week returned to the area in several years and included several events, activities, and receptions to generate community awareness and support for the mission and men and women of the U.S. Navy.
“We were honored to join the Navy League of Greater KC and others in hosting a reception for the crew of the USS Kansas City in town for Navy Week,” said Rich Brown, Chief Operating Officer at Pioneer. “The highlight was the unveiling of a model of LCS-22, honoring her crew as well as active-duty, veterans, and military families throughout the region.”
Other activities throughout the week included concerts by the Navy Band Great Lakes, demonstrations by the Navy Parachute Team, as well as performances by the Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds in a local airshow.
Pioneer continues its long tradition of supporting the men and women of the armed forces, their families, military spouses, and the communities where they live. We’re proud of this commitment to social responsibility, and remain unwavering in our efforts to better the lives of our nation’s service members and military families.
