Pioneer Military Credit and Lead Bank Partner to Support the Lending Needs of Military Members

Pioneer Military Credit has partnered with Lead Bank, an innovative Community Bank, and member FDIC, to further its mission of providing responsible lending opportunities to members of the armed forces. Both companies have a rich history of service, social responsibility, and giving back to the community while working to provide mainstream financial banking and credit services for all.

For various reasons, some service members and military families still operate outside the financial mainstream, be it a result of their mobile lifestyle, lack of credit history, age, etc. To address this, Pioneer and Lead Bank have partnered to expand the availability of personal installment loans to all members of the military, regardless of rank or seniority, and to those who might be outside of the financial mainstream or credit-challenged.

Pioneer has helped nearly 1.5 million military families with their financial needs over the last 30 years, be it traditional installment loans, financial education tools, or continued support for military advocacy organizations and the military community. Under new ownership today, Pioneer Military Credit now offers an innovative online borrowing experience that provides access to fixed-rate personal installment loans originated by Lead Bank for a wide range of credit types. All ranks and branches of active-duty military are eligible to apply. Pioneer understands the unique challenges of military life, with the goal of helping service members obtain the credit, respect, and customer service they deserve.

“We’re excited about this partnership with Lead Bank, which will advance our efforts to provide military families and service members access to the financial products they deserve,” said Randy Freese, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer for Pioneer Military Credit. “Recognized for a commitment to the communities they serve, a passion for innovation and technology, and expanding financial opportunities for the underserved, this joint collaboration brings together two companies that also share a commitment to their customers, military families, and providing banking and lending solutions for all.”

Military customers enjoy a fast and easy online application process and get answers within minutes. There are no existing account relationship requirements to apply, and no restrictions on where their loan proceeds are deposited. All products offered through Pioneer Military Credit are fully compliant with the Military Lending Act (MLA) and Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) meaning no hidden fees, prepayment penalties, or mandatory repayment methods, among other things. Moreover, the company offers a unique no-questions-asked 15-Day Return Guarantee, requires credit checks, provides credit bureau reporting to help individuals build their credit history, and adheres to a Responsible Lending Commitment for all military customers. Customers get the security, privacy, and protections of a highly regulated organization, and a partnership with a well-known and established FDIC regulated community bank.
